I'm 30 years old, lived in Rio de Janeiro for the first 24 years, then London for three and here in Barcelona I've been for almost three years now.
I understand everyone has their own style but one girl's trash is another one's treasure, so I find extremely valid to have wardrobe sales. Most people have several unworn items, loads of very good pieces and everything keeps just ending up in the bottom of closets. So it's time for all of us to just exchange our goodies!
Regarding sizes: I'm usually sizes 10-12 in the UK, usually a European 38 at H&M and, honestly, things vary so much in their sizes that I trust my measuring tape more than anything else. So I advise you to do the same. I'll always post the label size, but please do trust the measurements I take from the item lying flat. I think this is the best way of seeing if things will fit you.
To give you a better idea, I'll give you my measurements:
- bust: 87cm / 34in (measured at fullest part of bust);
- waist: 71cm / 28in (measured at natural waist, a bit above my belly button);
- hips: 98cm / 38.5in (measured 20cm below my natural waist);
- full hips: 107cm / 42in (measured at fullest part of hips);
- height: 1.65m / 5'5'' (important for lenght of items!).
